Buyer Responsibilities for International Shipping

  • We do not 'undervalue' or 'overstate'  shipment values or prices.  Buyer must know the laws in their perspective country regarding 'Duties, Customs, Broker Fees and/or taxes. Buyer's are responsible for all amounts they will be required to pay.

  • Handling fees associated with each purchase are not refundable.

  • Shipping fees are not refundable.

  • We are not required to, nor will we, give quotes regarding any other fee except the 'shipping' fees, carrier used and insurance to be charged.

  • In countries where we use UPS as the primary carrier such as Canada or Mexico  extra broker fees and taxes are required by UPS. Please call UPS at 1800-742-5877, ask for an International Representative and give facts regarding invoice amounts. Ask the representative  for a quote about their prospective brokers fees and taxes.

  • All of our shipping procedures, labeling and ordering is done thru prospective carriers accounts and originate from our location. Therefore, some USPS Insurance Coverage for International shipping is limited based on the weight, not value, of the parcel. Buyers will NOT be covered above the amount of USPS limitation. However, full declaration of value must still be made for Customs. Customs Declaration of Value and Fees are 'Required' forms by the United States Postal Service. For questions regarding USPS please go to http://www.usps.com

  • In case of Damage or Loss: Buyer files the claim if USPS is Carrier Used and WE file the claim if UPS is the Carrier.) In case of damage keep all boxes, packing materials and labels associated with the parcel for Carrier Inspector. Do not alter in any way as claim may be denied or restricted or we may appeal and require photographic proof.

  • Any returns thru carrier must be accompanied by a Return Authorization from that carrier. Buyer will be responsible for shipping and insurance fees if item qualifies for return. Regardless of insured value previously limited by USPS items authorized for return must be fully insured or acceptance of delivery will be declined and parcel returned to sender and shipper fees may also be assessed to Buyer if returned parcel is declined. Bottom line, discuss any shipping problems with us for instructions about the best way to handle the situation.

  • International Buyers take a level of associated risk shipping outside their countries and if this is a burden it is advised to confine their shipping to their own countries.
